Kelcey Andrus home staging design

Kelcey Andrus

Kelcey is the hardworking and creative owner of Aloe and Elm Interiors. Her passion for design and decor makes owning this business a joy. Kelcey found a love for interior design and decor early on. She spent most of her childhood through her teenage years constantly rearranging and redecorating her room and helping her parents redo her childhood home. 

Kelcey has been married to Ben for 15 years, and they have three children together. Kelcey enjoys paddleboarding with her friends and family, hiking, and hot yoga when she isn’t working. But she is often happy to be home with her little family, curled up, watching a good movie.

She began working for this company back in 2017, back when it was just an organizing business. After they did their first staging in 2018, the company decided to change its course. 

Kelcey helped build the staging and design business from the ground up with the previous owners. In April of 2023, Kelcey decided to purchase the company and has worked hard to make changes and grow ever since.

Andrea Fowlks

Andrea, our blue-haired, right-hand woman, brings enthusiasm and creativity to our company, with much appreciation. When she’s not staging, she keeps busy being a mom, partner, and daughter. Andrea enjoys dance, fitness, hula hooping, and the outdoors, but also just cozying up and catching a show with her loved ones. 

Andrea has been staging and designing with Aloe and Elm Interiors since 2020 and has become an invaluable member of our company. With her keen eye for design and attention to detail, she has worked up to be our lead designer in a few short years. Her previous years in customer service have made her a tremendous asset when working face-to-face with realtors and homeowners. She patience and understanding to work with any situation that comes our way.

In July 2021 we tried Rachel Biesinger for staging on a home in Orem Utah. I think she was quite busy at the time but found an opening in her schedule and followed through even with a short lead time. She met all of her commitments and delivered her services as described. The home was staged so well. I received several positive compliments about the home at an open house I held and think the staging helped to elicit many of those comments. Little fine touches like putting a few items in the walk in closet made a difference along with the more major pieces that fit well with the home layout. Rachel has an excellent sense of interior décor. Prices were reasonable. As you may sense from the above, I don't feel Rachel could be rated too highly, she is definitely a cut above many others. Most of our clients have questions throughout the process of staging, interior design or whatever. You probably do , too. The least of which is “How Much?” Here are a few common questions. (From Real Estate Agents) How can staging help me get more clients?

Many of the realtors we work with offer staging as an incentive for potential sellers to choose them over other realtors, they also love that all of the photos of their past and current listings look amazing.

How long does staging take?

We usually need 4-5 hours in the home on the day of staging. We will also have the consultation before we start which usually takes an hour and the destaging that takes 2-3 hours. Some larger projects can take 2 or 3 days of 4-5 hour shifts per day. We will give you a timeline in your estimate of the plan for your project.

Can you take care of everything if I live out of state?

Absolutely. We are experienced in working with out-of-state owners who just want things put in order so they can get their vacation rental earning them money and not having to be on site.

Can you recommend real estate photographers & other contractors?

Absolutely. We know the best professionals around town!
