The owners of this 2nd home knew they would have a lot of family and friends using it for gourmet cooking, parties and events so we stocked the kitchen and laundry room with everything anyone would ever need to cook, entertain and clean up. We put everything in zones where they would be used such as a baking station, coffee and hot chocolate tray, dishes next to the dishwasher etc. We also made sure to make room for folding tables and chairs, table cloths and serving dishes needed for larger parties and meals and helpful things people might forget like first aid items and birthday candles. We also included a directory in a binder that stays on the counter that lists every item alphabetically so guests can look things up and quickly find out where they are located. This feature was raved about in reviews and gets used a lot.
